For some reason I think the film title was a date.

Single Russian mom takes her kid to hang out with his father in....Estonia? Ukraine? Somewhere the Russkies were about to fight.

War erupts. Kid gets left alone (Dad and grandparents whacked by non-Russkie seperatists?) in a house, starts fantasizing about Rocket Boy or somesuch. Mom frantically travels to warzone, winds up hanging with a recon platoon as they fight their way to where Junior was. Had some pretty cool scenes of the Russkie tank autoloader in action.
