First one was a fun, popcorn movie.

I'm going counter to this. It was, IMHO, a perfect example of why reboots so often fail. Barely any plot line, as unbelievable as the first one was while still enjoyable this is so far beyond that it might was well be animated. No part of this is new or particularly creative. Wife actually prompted us watching and once over after 30 seconds of silence said merely; "I'm sorry."

When you see that it's only 1:29, that's a sign they couldn't come up with any cohesive, amusing or compelling storyline or content.

YMMV.... Wink

Worthy of not watching a second time. Coupon yesterday for Amazon Prime so I watched it.

Enjoyed it, but in many ways it was a scene-by-scene redo of the first. The charm and uniqueness was lost. I watch the first one a few times a year, likely won’t revisit the sequel.

While not as good as the first one, it was still entertaining.
