I started my current trend of short episode hunting shows with Meat Eater on Netflix. Went through that series and went looking for more episodes and stumbled on The Hunting Public. I'm just so surprised that this went from a YouTube channel (still is) to what this series on Amazon Prime is now. Just a group of (mostly 20 somethings) whitetail hunters on public land having a great time sharing their passion for hunting. Not always bagging a buck, but enjoying the hunt regardless. Most of it is with bows and some of the coolest spot and stalk footage. Somewhere along the way they updated to 4k cameras and got some sponsorship. It's not a scripted high dollar production, but it's fun to watch and I enjoy their excitement when things go their way. The first season is kind of simple and rough video wise. But jump to Season 4 episode 6. Wow! That was a very cool hunt on video. Got me thinking about that bow I have on the shelf. Time to dust it off. Check it out. -TVz

Sounds like a cool show. I just got back into bow hunting this last year with some younger folks, it’s so refreshing to hear the excitement of the new kids again, I’ll check it out.

That’s where they are now? I watched a bunch of them years ago somewhere online (not YouTube) but limited episodes. Were they on NEtflix at one point? I enjoyed them, but kept thinking “man, this sure ain’t anything like the public land I hunt” hunt. lol _____________________________________________________ Sliced bread, the greatest thing since the 1911.
