I forgot how fun this show is. It’s totally unbelievable but it’s a great show that never took itself too seriously. I’m rewatching it with my 13 year old son and he’s loving it. Adam Baldwin is hilarious and Yvonne Strahovski is pretty easy on the eyes. The guns are pretty sweet too.

The entire series is free for Amazon Prime members.

It was a guilty pleasure.

A show that didn't take it's self too seriously, and was easy to see it was made by people who were clearly movie/Tv fans themselves.

Examples;

The "Spies Like Us" references, the one scene "Doctor, Doctor, Doctor, doctor and... doctor." and the character named Emmett Milbarge (Chase and Aykroyd were Emmett Fitz-Hume and Austin Milbarge)

Having Adam Baldwin say lines or paraphrase lines he'd said in other movies.
"You're damaging my calm, Chuck." ("You are beginning to damage my calm."-Serenity)
"Flush out your headgear new guy." (In Chuck and Full Metal Jacket)
A line from The Patriot that escapes me at the moment. lol
I don't know if there are others.

Fun/corny stuff was:
Having Scott Bakula say "Oh boy", Linda Hamilton saying.. "Come with me if you want to live" and tons of other stuff.

My favorite was in one episode when Linda Hamilton was bring help captive there was a quick shot of there monitor screen show she had upended her bed and was doing pull ups like in T2

I always loved how they incorporated the Subway stuff too. In-show advertising had really gotten popular at that time and most shows tried too hard to write it into the script and make it seem natural. Chuck just went over the top with it and made it funny.

Subway also saved that show. I think the show was cancelled twice but between the fans and the Subway sponsorship they survived.

Great show. Adam Baldwin was awesome. I just finished re-watching the whole thing a couple of months ago...for probably the third time.

Yvonne Strahovski pre Handmaid's Tale.

Such vastly different roles.

I bought the complete CD set a few years ago and watch it every winter.

Chuck and Morgan could be poster boys for the millennial demographics.

If you didn’t catch it, the entire cast did a table read of Chuck vs The Beard episode on Facebook live for a charity relief with Entertainment Weekly. Premiered yesterday.
