You'll need to speed up your watching schedule if you want to make it through all 3 seasons in time... All Star Trek shows are leaving Amazon Prime starting January 1st.

Amazon's Star Trek streaming contract with Paramount is expiring, and they're all being consolidated onto Paramount's own proprietary streaming service, Paramount+.

Crap, that figures. Television seasons were much longer years ago, I won’t be able to get through them. Appreciate the heads-up though

That's weak sauce, I like to put some DS9 on while I have my after work snack. These fools are gonna make me buy the DVDs.

I have all three seasons on DVD. I might look for Blu- Ray or 4k (if there is such a thing) next year.

I never met or heard anyone say they watched Star Trek when the first 3 seasons originally aired.

I’m smiling because I just watched episode 14 of season 1, “Balance of Terror.” The Enterprise finds itself in conflict with a Romulan vessel and a commander who looks exactly like a Vulcan. The plot is classic WWII submarine warfare with both commanders anticipating the other’s moves. Silent running. Randomly fired phaser shots like depth charges. Debris ejected out the “torpedo tubes” of the Romulan ship, including a “centurion” who was the captain’s old friend. Playing “dead in the water.” Kinda fun.

Almost perfect remake of The Enemy Below (1957) starring Robert Mitchum and Curt Jürgens.

I picked up on that, it’s a favorite WWII movie.
