New movie coming out. Dudes pick a fight with the wrong old guy, who commences to kill everyone in the adjoining five zip codes. Sure the basic premise has been done over and over, but this one looks like a lot of fun!

The bad CGI gunfire might be a dealbreaker for me, and how convenient that he came across a hubcap made of Vibranium that can deflect gunfire.

Certainly over the top and many cases where even a super soldier couldn't make it through.

However, no PC garbage and the bad guys got dead.

Enjoyable enough to watch probably twice in a lifetime.

SPOILER ALERT!!! DON"T READ FURTHER UNLESS YOU WANT TO>>>

One really must suspend belief watching this one. Yeah, it was fun, and the bad guys got deadified, but surviving a nose first into the ground plane crash from several thousand feet AGL and walking away from it when the rest of the plane is essentially vaporized? Come on man!

They could have at least had him landing/crashing the plane to make a BIT more believable.

As said, it was fun in a shootemup bang kind of way, and I dream of coming across a vein like that whilst digging a hole out in the boonies, but I don't think I'll be watching this one again.

^ That was the one big 'not a chance' scene, for me. But otherwise still fun. The ending in the bank had me laughing.

I have not seen the movie but isn’t the word SISU supposed to have an almost supernatural meaning in the Finnish culture? Like overcoming ANYTHING so to speak. I would assume the movie is meant to be sort of a come to life/supernatural embodiment of this if there are scenes like above.

So basically you look at dude more like a supernatural entity or supernaturally empowered more then just a pissed off old dude, is this not the case?

Watched this one yesterday and thought it was highly entertaining. As far as suspension of disbelief goes, I don't think it was intended to be taken seriously.

Good Movie

Sure there were a couple of parts where credibility was stretched,

They just added to the story of the Man and the Legend

I liked it a lot. The hero was like a 1940s John Wick killing bad guys.

Looks like one of those classic revenge flicks with a twist. I'm all in for some action-packed entertainment. Can't wait to check it out!
