Skull LeaderShows/Movies that disturb you
There is a movie called "Turtles Can Fly". It's the most depressing thing I've ever watched, but at the same time I'm glad I watched it.
It was the first film shot in Iraq after the fall of Saddam. It tells the story of a group of Kurdish children as they wait for the US invasion.
The suffering of children depicted in the movie gets to me.
You can watch the whole thing on Youtube.

No "two girls and a cup"?
I don't think I've seen that one. I'll have to check it out sometime.
Don't. It will leave you confused for the rest of your life.

KevboSaving Private Ryan. Particularly the scene at the end with the hand to hand fight with the German and the slow impalement with the bayonet the American endures
I'm not actually a big fan of war movies in general, honestly. Some I watch (band of brothers comes to mind) but I just have too many friends buried under white head stones at this point to watch enjoy watching it
I appreciate movies like SPR. But I don't enjoy them

46and2Laugh tracks, on a certain level.
"Reality TV" and the absurd difference between its label and content.
Extreme violence and gore, such as films like Hostel.

MagnumU"The Dark Knight" -- Incredible film, but Heath Ledger's performance, the menace and nihilistic violence are extremely disturbing. I have much less of a problem with portrayals of violence that have a point (even if I don't agree with the point), at least there is some logic (however twisted) to it.

It was probably the single scariest portrayal of nihilism i have ever seen.

clubleaf206The character of Moriarity, played by Andrew Scott, in the 'Sherlock' series on Masterpiece Theater really unsettled me, he was the epitome of sociopathic behavior, thinking of portrayal know kind of makes the hair on my arms rise.

Holmes is just as scary of a sociopath. Yin and yang of the same coin.

I can generally do without demon clowns/dolls/children. The Grudge and the Ring come to mind.
Dolls, especially china dolls, creep me out like few things. There's a horror movie about a possessed china doll,
Annabelle, that I flat out refuse to watch. I won't even look at the trailer or promo pics.
*shudders*
Yeah...made the mistake of telling the guys at work that I found dolls creepy. They bought like a hundred dolls parts online, put them in mason jars with water, and filled my office.

Same here. I seen Ol' Yeller in the theater when I was very young. I was heart broke for months.
Even today I refuse to watch any movies with dogs in it regardless if they are killed or not.

DbltapMovies about religious evil, particularly Satan.
Hard to describe. Deeper than fear alone.
Some instinctual stimulus that that says this is something that is not to be trifled with.
Never watched The Exorcist or similar genre.
