They're a Denver group who first appeared on AGT in 2011 as the first "shadow dance group" to perform.

Their act this week revolved around a family who loves their dog. The dog is played by three kids. As one of the family members gets sent to war, their act narrates how the dog waits for its owner to come back. When she finally does return, she arrives in a wheelchair, and the dog helps her stand up. This act brought all judges to tears.

THE SILHOUETTES donated a show to the Chelsea Hutchison Foundation to help raise funds for children with Epilepsy. This incredible foundation was created by a Mother and Father who lost their 16 year old daughter to a seizure when she was sleeping. This was one of the most memorable and special moments of our performance history and we could feel Miss Chelsea smiling down on us from heaven.

Thanks Cliff.

It may have touched me more than most as my eldest served as a Naval Corpsman with the Marines and suffered a number of service related injuries which continue to impact him. He has a wonderful Labrador Retriever that has been highly trained as a service dog which has made a profound impact on his quality of life. A generous benefactor donated the costs involved which were not insubstantial. So this presentation of a dog and a wounded vet resonated.

Yup, they got the “Golden Buzzer” and go directly into the finals. Very moving indeed.
