I’m a bit reluctant to admit it, but I read, and enjoyed, all of the Harry Potter books. Yeah, I know; the series was written for kids, and the author, J. K. Rowling, is a flaming woke leftist. Sigh…

“Beloved actor Robbie Coltrane's cause of death is listed as multiple organ failure on his death certificate, according to a new report.

The Harry Potter star died aged 72 on October 14. At the time of his death, he was reportedly suffering from sepsis, a lower respiratory tract infection, Type 2 diabetes, heart block and obesity.
……
The Scottish star, whose real name is Anthony Robert McMillan, was best known for playing the beloved Hogwarts gamekeeper Hagrid and starring as criminal psychologist Dr Eddie 'Fitz' Fitzgerald in the 90s ITV drama. …”

Nothing wrong with that. The books and movies were great. I’ve read/seen them all and don’t give two shits about Rowling’s politics.

Hagrid is gone and that still sucks.

He was also a Bond villain, Valentin Zukovsky, in "Goldeneye" and "The World Is Not Enough" along with many other credits.

His ride at Universal Orlando was literally THE BEST thing I’ve ever been on at any amusement park ever!

My father-in-law’s college roommate is some high-level exec with Universal, and he got us this super-duper VIP pass that allowed us to bypass all lines at the park. People who had been waiting in line for 5-6 hours were looking at us with murder in their eyes as we got on the Hagrid ride and off again and on again Eek

It’s like riding a motorcycle that’s on a rollercoaster track:

Loved him in Goldeneye. And great that a Bond villain can last more than more movie...

Just shows no matter how woke you are today, next year you will be someone who needs to be canceled.

Same here, I wouldn't have put it together until I read it in his film credits.

It really bothered me that the only headlines I saw about his death were such as "Nathaniel Radcliffe reacts to death of Harry Potter Co-Star" or similar.
