Loved his humor. Steve "The Marines I have seen around the world have, the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps." Eleanor Roosevelt, 1945

I really enjoyed Benny Hill too. And other British TV shows of that era: * Fawlty Towers * Monty Python’s Flying Circus * Are You Being Served * Open All Hours * Mystery I wonder if the paid version of YouTube has those shows. I don’t have a TV or wired Internet. If paid YouTube has such I’d watch on my iPhone. Serious about crackers

When I was a kid, before high school and before Monty Python, I discovered Benny Hill and it was better and funnier than any American TV comedy show. It was perfect for a pre-adolescent boy, pure slapstick, burlesque, and scantily clad women. I once read an interview with Johnny Carson and he stated Benny Hill was his bucket list guest. "I’m not going to read Time Magazine, I’m not going to read Newsweek, I’m not going to read any of these magazines; I mean, because they have too much to lose by printing the truth"- Bob Dylan, 1965

When I was younger Benny Hill would be on channel 11 at 11pm followed by Paul Hogan. He was funny. Let all Men know thee, but no man know thee thoroughly: Men freely ford that see the shallows. Benjamin Franklin
