Sonny Chiba was in the top three "BAMF's" back then, trailing close behind Bruce Lee and Carlos "Chuck" Norris. Yeah, he stared in those flicks, but also held about 6 black belts in various martial arts, and was actually a pretty tough dude. From what my friends who have met the man have told me, he was also a pretty humble and humorous individual. Karate Bear Fighter, Karate Street Fighter, Karate Bull Fighter (my favorite scene was when Sonny forearm smashes a bulls horn off)... Yakuza Cop, Karate for Life. And later stared as Hattori Hanzo, the retired sword maker in the Quentin Tarantino movie Kill Bill. ______________________________________________________________________ "When its time to shoot, shoot.
