For you youngsters that remember, came out in 1975, fifty one years later, still in production.
When I first saw them, I thought there was no way that they would sell....
So much for my theory.

Remember the first time (1975-76) I saw one in Austin Texas at a Spencer's in the mall, little cardboard box with holes and straw at the bottom. Genius who ever came up with that nonsense.

My Dad had one. As a joke. It sat, in its box, all alone, attentionless, probably having mental issues.

After my Dad passed, I'm sure my Mom let it out in their back yard, free to roam again.
