One of my best friends was raving about Burger King's Bacon King sandwich. So I tried it. Delicious!

Not your typical "bacon burger," with two or three anemic strips of unexceptional bacon. A layer of good bacon.

Better be hungry, though. It's a big burger.

It’s the only one I get. I usually order it with lettuce, tomato, and pickles added.

Haven't been to a BK in many years. I'll have to give this one a try.

I still like the Whopper, so what's not to like about adding a generous layer of bacon?

Yeah, I have and it’s good. The regular size Bacon King is pretty big, I ordered the Jr the last time I was there and it seems about right for me.

My only problem with it is the price they charge.

I guess I'm too cheap. It absolutely infuriates me that they never have coupons for these burgers. It's always for the friggin' Whopper. Fuck the whopper. Mad Red Face

While the idea of a burger containing a whole pack of bacon may make you salivate, the nutritional information may make you think twice about giving this sandwich a try. The Bacon King contains a whopping 1,150 calories, with 31 grams of saturated fat and 49 grams of carbohydrates..

Take the bread off. You will be fine then. The bus is worse for you than a pound of bacon beef and cheese.

When I was in the military, BK was the only fast food on base at the time. We ate there so much during 3 years in Germany that I got absolutely sick of BK. When I came back to the US it was decades before I ate there again. Having said that - BK now is not what it used to be.

Has it really changed? I haven’t had any fast food in yesrs but I recall BK tasting good but also always repeating and that was not so good.

I've not tried one but I guess you guys have me one step closer to a bypass. I shunned BK as I'm generally not a fast food guy but I had some a few months ago and the flame broiledness hit the spot.

I'll likely try the King Jr version
