Grew up listening to a wide variety of music., jazz to rock to punk to Nu Wave. Enjoyed it all but really have a soft spot for female jazz singers. Just discovered Postmodern Jukebox today. They do jazz covers of modern songs. There are some really great interpretations. I highly recommend you give them a listen.
A few examples
Black Hole Sun (Soundgarden)
Sweet Child of Mine (Guns & Roses)
Dream On (Aerosmith)

I found these guys about a year ago after they covered a Miley Cyrus song and went a bit viral. Good stuff all around
This is where my signature goes.

Scott Bradlee does great work. Also look at Robyn Adele Anderson. She features in a lot of their earlier work and is doing similar stuff of her own now. Bonus: look up the artists PMJ features and check out their stuff.

I've been a fan of theirs for a few years now. Their versions of "Sweet Child O' Mine" and "Creep" posted above are probably my top two favorites.
My first exposure to them was their version of "Royals" with Puddles Pity Party.

They are terrific. Also discovered them when watching Puddles and their cover of Royals. All About the Bass is another favorite of mine.
Slight thread drift/conspiracy theory: Makes me wonder how the judges on America's Got Talent say they have never heard of Puddles. Using Kevin Bacon logic: Haley Reinhart (Post Modern Jukebox) has sung with Puddles (Big Mike Geier) numerous times, Haley finished 3rd (I believe) on Simon Cowels' American Idol, Simon nor the other judges have never heard of Puddles prior to him taking the stage at AGT. Seems like an odd disconnect to me.

Impossible. He will probably win this season, and the ratings will be as high as they been in years.
Everyone involved with that show knew exactly who Puddles was.

I like puddles but every now and then , at least twice in every song , it sounds like he hits a sour note or three,
on videos and on the AgT

Big Mike lives in Atlanta, you hear about him in the music community, even if you're just tangential, all the time. He runs King Sized Entertainment.
The Dream On cover is my current favorite, close second might be the Motown version of Shake It Off.
And they tour. I missed the last show here in ATL at the Fox, hope to catch a show in the future.
