Here's someone I doubt many people will know, he appeared in 240 films, starred in none of them, and countless (over 1000) TV shows, mostly in the UK, although some films, such as The Cruel Sea and TV series like The Adventures of Robin Hood did cross the Atlantic . He was the ubiquitous working class man, often playing a chirpy cockney (although he was Irish).
