Hollywood can take their smarmy fucking attitude and cram it all the way up their ass just as far as it will go. Arrogant fucks. I couldn't tell you what this film is about and that will not change.

I watched it too.
The beginning was bizarre (part Para was referring to) and almost turned it off, the end ... well there was no end.
Liked the rest of it except it just stopped out of the blue, IMO.

thought the beginning was pretty bizarre, of course. and tom ford is a pompous euro-wannabe ass.

but I liked the movie. well acted and gorgeous to look at, imo. and I thought the novel was an interesting and well-executed metaphor for real life.

 
We have badgers that come out at night, here in the desert. Also most snakes and scorpions only come out at night during the hot summer.
