I just mentioned her passing to the other half. I also did not realize that she was the love interest of Rodney Dangerfield in Back to School. All these years I never knew.

^^Was just thinking of her last night; saw someone else that made me think she looked like a young Sally Kellerman. Age 84.

Diane: Ever since the women's movement, most of the men I meet go out of their WAY to show you how SENSITIVE they are. Before, they were too macho, and now they're too... soft. You all want us to know you can CRY. Thornton Melon: No, with women, I never cry. Never. I beg. Diane: If we finish this bottle of wine, you won't have to beg. R.I.P.

I always felt sorry for Hot Lips when they dropped the walls of the tent when she was showering... I thought that was a cruel joke. My Native American Name: "Runs with Scissors"

Sally Kellerman was the first woman I saw naked on the screen. At 11 or so years old, I remember “pausing” the M*A*S*H shower scene prank over-and -over, just to get the briefest glimpse at her pre-toweled body. I can’t imagine I was the only one. ___________________________ All it takes...is all you got. ____________________________ For those who have fought for it, Freedom has a flavor the protected will never know ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ

I saw that movie in the theater, and I was completely enchanted by her portrayal (ESPECIALLY where she recited poetry). Fear God and Dread Nought Admiral of the Fleet Sir Jacky Fisher

RIP, Hot Lips. Place your clothes and weapons where you can find them in the dark. “If in winning a race, you lose the respect of your fellow competitors, then you have won nothing” - Paul Elvstrom "The Great Dane" 1928 - 2016

FWIW: I don't make a habit of spreading info that I've picked up "surreptitiously", but back in the 1980's I just happened to be in a restaurant, seated in the booth next to where Rodney Dangerfield and an acquaintance were dining. Mr. Dangerfield mentioned to his companion that he'd recently been working with Ms. Kellerman and was extremely impressed with her abilities as an actress, and enjoyed working with her. He certainly seemed to mean it and thought his validation said much about both her and his levels of class in a profession that far too often seems to be lacking in that regard. "I'm not fluent in the language of violence, but I know enough to get around in places where it's spoken."
