Bird Photographer of the Year competition

Where did the year go, seems like I just posted 2020 winners. Not as fun this time around, less stunners and the winner is of course vaguely political but still...

Outstanding snap Mike! Reminds me of my African Grey as he used to stand on his perch with his leg and claw in that exact positioning..

Anybody with a halfway decent cell phone could have taken that roadrunner photo. I don't know how that even placed, let alone won.

Who knew, Will, I've never seen anything like that. Is that like shooting the finger in owl?

The whole expression reminds me of the witch in the Wizard of Oz when she glares at them and says "I'll get you my little pretty and your little dog too!" Smile

I had always thought that my bird was just alternating feet to keep from cramping long term and would sit on one leg balanced like that for long periods. I miss him dearly..

Bullshit leftist propaganda. Nothing to do the quality of the photo

That owl is amazing. I am still a bit shocked it's a photo because it looks like a painting to me.

These go to eleven.
