Meditation from the Massenet opera Thais, with Yo-Yo Ma cello and Kathy Stott piano. Turn up the sound, forget current events, your worries, and enjoy! Smile

Perlman was recently in Richmond. IMHO, he's the best violinist alive now.

Surprisingly, I preferred the Perlman. My wife is not sure; but we both like the cello a great deal. Wifey who plays violin notes the cleanliness of the playing--can't hear the bow being set down, no scraping. Tone quality is superb for both performances.
