jayhalseyThis was one of the movies that got played almost on constant repeat at my house when I was a kid. We about wore that tape out.
We have a local movie theater that plays cult classics once a week. Once a year, this is played. It really is great on the big screen.

hberttmankThe trio of movies Kurt made in the 80s with John Carpenter were all classics and favorites of mine.

zoom6zoomThe only DVD I ever preordered.
There's a story about that they're doing a remake. Blasphemy! Some movies need to be left the hell alone.
I have my own style of humor. I call it Snarkasm. October 06, 2017, 07:47 PM
henryarnaudI don't know what the current status is, but last I heard the remake is supposed to star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as Jack Burton.

Just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, and the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big ol' storm right square in the eye and he says, "Give me your best shot, pal. I can take it."
