Dream Team cast for a single western film, oh boy...

The three main stars- John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Robert Mitchum. Supporting cast- Glenn Ford, Lee Marvin, Jack Elam, Strother Martin, Robert Duvall, Warren Oates, Paul Fix, Sam Elliot

Good one, he was very active in B Westerns (and "F Troop"). Another one from B's (and a few roles in John Wayne films) I like is Tom Tyler.

Denver Pyle is another one. He had some acting skills. Appeared in many of the early tv westerns. Just seen him this morning on a Wagon Train Episode. He hit the jack pot when landing on Dukes Of Hazard. The camera just likes some people and they don't have to do much after that. He was one of those. Slimp Pickens, Strother Martin and Burgess Meredith fit in that category as well.

And where are we at on this Jack Nicholson guy?

He did very well in the very few westerns that he was in .

And he's among the very best in my opinion.

But a western actor ?
What say you ?

Nicholson was good in The Missouri Breaks. His other westerns.... Not so much.
