The show ran from 2014 - 2016. I have no idea how long it’s been available on Prime, but the fact that there’s never been a thread about the show makes me a little hesitant; are my wife and I the only ones who like it? The villains are black-hearted, the heroes are suitably heroic. The swordplay seems well choreographed, and it looks like the actors are fighting with intent, rather than just clashing swords. The wheelock pistols are beautiful and there are some matchlock muskets, which I suppose might still be around in the first half of the 17th century.

We just finished season 2, and the villain was played by Marc Warren, who had a memorable role in Band of Brothers as Blythe, the soldier who claimed traumatic blindness. He was good.

Anyway, I think Alexandre Dumas is brilliant, and this 3 season series seems worthwhile to me.

Me and the wife watched the entire series when it ran. It was well done and visually stunning. Very well done all the way around.

I also agree that Alexandre Dumas was brilliant. I love reading The Three Musketeers and The Count of Monte Cristo (my personal favorite) and I try to watch all the shows/movies I can based off of them. I'm counting down the days until The Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan and Milady are released to stream.

Watched it a couple of years ago. Agree, it was a very good series.

I have for as long as I can remember been a Musketeers fan (no, NOT the ones with mouse ears).

I caught a few episodes of the BBC version and ordered all three seasons on DVD. Loved it.

Then a dead Cardinal (Capaldi) became Dr Who. But that is another topic.

I like this series a lot. Watched it twice so far, have the DVD sets. I'm a fan of the Three Musketeers, in all forms really.

Another vote for very good show. I liked it a lot. Would've liked more, but I appreciate that it ended and didn't drag out until it turned horrible.
