I don't think it ever went quite that way, but the world ain't complaining! I forgot how many great bands got their start in this joint. Talking Heads Iggy Pop Blondie Patti Smith The Ramones Elvis Costello The Cramps B-52's The Police Alan Rickman plays Hilly Kristal, the Owner of the infamous CBGB's in NYC, and does a good job.
