I loved him in the Wire and Boardwalk Empire and also in the small role he had in The Road. I was flying back from a trip with friends yesterday and we were discussing our all time favorite 5 shows. The Wire was in my top 5 and we talked about Omar's character and how good he was in it. To hear that news today was, well, I don't know how to describe it. I know it was just coincidence I had a long conversation about him and then he died but, it's very eerie, and sad.
