Thanks, guns, I saw this post and just hadn’t got around to watching Beato’s video. The joy he exhibits when he dissects a great song like this is transferable, it makes me smile. Chicago was the first big concert I ever saw, and it would have been touring the album “Make Me Smile” is on, the second (silver) album. I’ve got two Chicago albums, this and the first, CTA. I’m surprised how infrequently I play them, they truly were something special. So sad that Terry Kath’s life ended so young. _______________________________________________________ despite them

I actually watched that the other day...friggin' good stuff!! I need to write to Beato and see if he'll review Leonid & Friends that cover many Chicago tunes so wonderfully. I really enjoy Beato’s breakdowns. Very informative stuff. ---------------------------- Chuck Norris put the laughter in "manslaughter" Educating the youth of America, one declension at a time.

This is my first exposure to Beato. Outstanding video dissecting an exceptional song. Terry Kath was an absolute monster on the guitar and vocals. Too bad, he, like so many, died way to young. This band is one of the best. I'm sorry if I hurt you feelings when I called you stupid - I thought you already knew - Unknown ................................... Love Chicago ~ first had it on 8-track. Terry Kath is one of the greatest guitarists of all time, IMO. Guitar was just one of his many talents. RIP to a great one. PS I think Beato is great even though I don't care about the musical dissection (which he is a genius, btw and 100% dedicated to his craft). Way over my head technically. I mainly enjoy the exposure to so many great artists.

I hear what you're sayin'! I dig the music theory aspect of his videos, though. Beato discussed more music theory in the first 10 minutes of the Chicago breakdown than I probably studied my entire music life!! Dude is BRILLIANT!!! "If you’re a leader, you lead the way. Rick Beato has some great stuff. My personal favorite is his review of the Steely Dan song “Kid Charlemagne”. https://youtu.be/xKIC9zbSJoE _____________________________________________________________________ “One of the common failings among honorable people is a failure to appreciate how thoroughly dishonorable some other people can be, and how dangerous it is to trust them.” – Thomas Sowell
