| For me Deadliest Catch. I just can't get into Port Protection.....I watched about 6 episodes one season and found it ok, but nothing thrilling. I have a feeling they'll be at the same time the entire season so might have to make a choice......don't they usually air Deadliest Catch 2 hours later on the same night same station every week? Or is that only Gold Rush? |

| I've never seen Port Protection but I've seen a lot of Deadliest Catch. It just gets repetitive after the first 3 seasons. And you can tell the stardom from the show is starting to get to some of the guys in the later seasons.

| I like Port Protection better than Deadliest Catch. I watched 'Catch' for the first few seasons (for a couple seasons after Phil died) - by that time there seemed to be a lot of manufactured drama on and off boat. I really like 'The Last Alaskans', 'Port Protection' isn't as good, but it's in the same style.
