Augie Meyers song. He’s still around, as is Flaco. Doug Sahm died in 1999 and Freddy Fender in 2006. The band reformed for one album in 2010, I think, with Doug Sahm’s son. Flaco Jiménez is a longtime favorite of mine, he works a lot, but he’s 83 now and I fear it won’t be long before…
