Resurrect a 5 year old thread, an 8 year thread, or start a new thread?

New thread it is!

The narrated version of Blade Runner is on SyFy. I can't remember the last time I've seen it, but it has to be at least 25 years ago. I was curious to see this version again and have been waiting watch it where I don't have to buy or rent it.

The writing for the narration is just awful and Harrison Ford sounds absolutely chipper reading it. It's the antithesis Rutger Hauer's last 42 words in the movie. On the other hand, maybe that's the point.

I liked the narrated version, and think Ford sounds like what he is...a burned out cop sick of just about everything. My ideal cut would be TFC with narration.

This is one of my favorite movies, and I really don't mind the narration.
