This is currently streaming on the ROKU channel for free.

I took the time to watch it and I am glad I did. Now please don't go into this thinking you're going to see life changing theater. It's a biopic of someone who had a successful career doing parody music. Enjoy it for what it is. Smile

Not the first positive review I've read. Will be checking this one out as well.

Really enjoy Wierd Al's stuff, and have been a fan of Dr. Demento since the '70s.

We just got a new Roku stick, need to fire it up and watch this! Smile

I can't believe I watched this the other day, nothing else on and the price was right. Smile

A few minutes in I'm thinking no way but it's so audacious in it's goofiness and a parade of B and C listers, yep, glad I stuck with it.

An historical note, Al performs "Another One Rides the Bus" on Tom Snyder's show, Snyder cementing his place as a dork's dork. How can anyone not love this...

For forty years I have believed that Weird Al Yankovich and Yakov Smirnoff were the same person.

A fair review without too many spoilers. Smile

There were some A listers too.

The pool party was awesome!

Well, that was fun. Both to see Yankovic and Snyder.

My dad resembled Tom Snyder (or visa versa) to the degree that when I see Snyder on TV or the internet, I do a double-take. It is uncanny. They were the same age, too. They always had the same haircut and wore the same kind of white-guy clothes.

Watched it this past weekend... it is entertaining but I don't expect to see any Oscar nominations for it...

It's a parody of a guy who does parodies....

Spoiler alert:

He's killed by an assassin hired by his ex-girl friend Madonna who now runs the Mexican Drug cartel.

Yes, back in the days when people would laugh at funny stuff and NOT be offended.

Daniel Radcliff (Harry Potter) seems to be an odd casting choice.

It was very reminiscent of UHF.

I enjoyed it immensely.
