It's mission impossible. Does it really need a plot description? Razz

Looks good to me. Will definitely be watching it.

Isn't the plot of these "Look at me, I'm Tom Cruise doing the same (crazy) stuff (like stunts) over and over again for quite some time without getting old"?

Age is catching up with him.

I saw this last night and it looks good. I thought it looked like they revisited a couple of locations from the first and third movies. Maybe wrong about that. I thought the last one was the best of the series.

I will have it when it comes out on disc. I like all the MI movies.

I said the same exact thing. It says Part I and I’d bet the Part II was filmed b2b since he is running out of time. Next up will be Grandpa roles unless you gets some brand new cosmetic surgery.

I’ll tag this here.

These 2 together crack me up.

I’m pretty sure from his Mission Impossible training Tom is certified to perform HALO jumps

I had no idea Cruise was such an accomplished pilot; Although he did pilot all of his helicopter stunts in the last mission impossible movie. The campfire season is hilarious as Tom uses burning marshmallows to simulate them bailing out!

Start a thread on that, then. This is about Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning.

There's a case of at least 17 P226s at 1:08 in the trailer. Smile

He'll either shift into Harrison Ford-mode where he's attempting to do action at an advanced age, and not doing it well or, he goes into Robert DeNiro-mode where he's making comedies, parodying himself. When things dry up, Cruise can fall back on making a Les Grossman movie.

Finally got a chance to watch this with the wife and was not impressed. It seems like it's all over the place with too many bad guys and too many car smashing chases.

Anyone else feel this way?

Just watched tonight.Felt the exact same way. Seen all of these moves before, nothing new, nothing exciting. Too much nonsense, and the forced humor had me groaning. Every action sequence seemed like I had seen it before in other movies and done better. I was eye rolling at the end, good thing I only rented from the library.

I saw recently that this was considered a box office flop, a first for the franchise.

I think a lot has to do with how people have quit going to the movies like they used to but it was just way overdone and doesn't even make me eager to see the final one.

Everything in this movie was one too many, it seemed way too busy. One too many car chases, one too many heroines sword fighting the bad guy, one(or three too many antagonists), one too many trains, two too many fights on top of the trains(didn't we see enough of that in the other MI movies, and Captain America, Solo, and every western movie ever made), one too many trains cars slowly falling off the edge(again, already done in so many other movies), one too many parachute tricks. etc. This thing was just a hot mess, and how does Ethan just happen to parachute THROUGH the car and smash the bad guy out the other side in the nick of time, I mean come on.
