Didn't really know who he is, his movies may not tickle some folks fancy, but they seem to draw the money..

On that list above, only the 1998 movie Wide Awake was a box office flop. the rest grossed millions more than production. Seems he at least knows how to get bums in seats mates....

The cumulative gross of his films exceeds $3 billion globally.

Imagine the accountants like him...

I loved the Unbreakable trilogy. The rest...not so much.

I recently watched this and was sorely disappointed in the outcome; however, I did think there was something interesting about the twist revealed at the end of the movie.

While both were a bit slow, I did enjoy "The Village" and "Unbreakable" a bit.

Those movies are like Stephen King's non-horror movies - "Shawshank Redemption", "The Green Mile", etc. You go down a story line and then suddenly introduced to an ending you don't see coming.

Signs was by far the best...UNTIL they showed the aliens...

Some of his movies are entertaining. Sixth Sense was very good. But for the most part they are all too similar now.

Well it sounds like nobody has seen Old. I have. It’s shitty. I like M Night but he tends to make good movies and stinkers. This one is one of the worst.

I feel like this should be the standard length review for most movies. Smile

Only reason I bumped this thread was because I watched it. BigSwede added his thoughts on the movie, as well.

I misspoke. Not many had seen the movie.

I thought the pharma twist was shitty as well. It didn’t even make sense. Take one pill, one, once, mixed in a cocktail or whatever and then get a lifetime of drug test results through super fast aging. One dose, no blood work, no testing, just one pill and some long range video and that equates to a successful drug test. Idiotic.

M Night peaked a long time ago. I’m amazed anyone bankrolls his shit anymore.
