"Hotel California" was the opening song at my best friends wedding. Overtime I hear it played, I think of the good times that we had in college.

The 70's best ever...I agree 100%, no other decade comes close as far as popular music. Punk rock, glam rock, progressive rock, New Wave, Philly soul, etc. From Yes to Genesis to Zeppelin, from The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac to Queen. From Elvis Costello & the Attractions to The Sex Pistols and The Clash. From Bowie, Roxy Music to The Ohio Players. The Who and The Stones in their primes. Motown still putting out great records. Elvis was still alive and playing. And all of the great one hit wonders on AM Top 40 radio. Since I was listening to the Faces this morning: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrOPJXrUWII "I’m not going to read Time Magazine, I’m not going to read Newsweek, I’m not going to read any of these magazines; I mean, because they have too much to lose by printing the truth"- Bob Dylan, 1965

Well I agree, 1970's best music ever, but my tastes were a bit different. JD Crowe and the New South: Link to original video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Py9ZPX-8CUE%5DJD I was fortunate to see this group live in 1973, at the Red Slipper Lounge in north Lexington, KY.

I like a lot of the hard rock and metal that came out of the 90's and early 00's but I have to admit, the 70's was one of the best decades for music in almost all genres. First In Last Out

Technically, I guess 1970 ends the 60s decade, rather than begins the the 70s. Nevertheless, here's two from '70 Derek and the Dominos This is pretty cool. Somebody put this video together from several sources--did a good job. Fleetwood Mac from Kiln House (Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Jeremy Spencer and Danny Kirwin, Christine McVie uncredited on this album). _______________________________________________________ despite them

In my opinion, American Pie defines the 70s. *************************** Knowing more by accident than on purpose.
