I finally signed up for Apple TV and have my first series to watch down to:

For All Mankind

What should I go with first?

I say Silo. But then I was a big fan of the book series years ago.

For All Mankind lost me partway through Season 2.

Also worth checking out is Severance.

As well as Greyhound.

To add another to your list: Dark Matter
I read the book earlier this year & have only gotten through 2 episodes, but it's good/true to the book so far.

Also, another vote for Ted Lasso

The Enemy's gate is down.

I haven’t seen Silo yet, I’ll have to look into it, but I think you’ll enjoy Ted Lasso!

As with book recommendations, it's awfully helpful to add a sentence or two to tell us why we should watch Tehran, or Ted Lasso, or whatever.

I watched Fly Me to the Moon last night (film). While the plot was implausible at best, it was a fun watch.

In addition to those already listed, Foundation is fantastic. Excellent sci-fi show. Based on some Isaac Asimov stories. I've not read those (yet).

We are thoroughly enjoying Shrinkage, we are about halfway through the 2 season. It does have a gay couple that is part of the story if that matters to you.
