I've mostly been focusing on Rush stuff, but surely there's a lot more out there. Listening to old demos and isolated instrument tracks of songs I've heard dozens, sometimes hundreds of times before is curiously enjoyable.

The drums on this pure magic:

This is a "rehearsal track" from Cyndi Lauper.

This one will only be interesting to serious fans of Rush's album Signals. I think maybe it's just pre or early production. Alex's guitar is more up front, especially on the solos. Geddy's voice actually sounds good. The violin on Losing it is really cool.

Demo version - Niles Rodgers really comes through. I think I like it better than the final version with Stevie Ray Vaughn...

I love listening to isolated or boosted bass tracks. So much of the best part of as song gets lost in production, poor sound equipment. etc.

Rock and Roll bass is made to be felt as much as heard.
