This is about the origional movie that came out in 1988. I remember seeing this on A&E in 1989, in fact I recorded it on my VCR. For years my VCR tape was the only copy I could get.

It was a powerful movie for me although not in the negative sense that the British Government may have thought when they banned it. It inspired me. I understood the faults of the British VA and how they treated their Falkland veterans after the war.

I remember I kept looking for a DVD copy and FINALLY in 2007 I was able to order one from England. I was able to retire my old VHS copy.

I consider this movie one of the finest, showing the finest of the Men from the Falklands.

And this song, shown briefly in the movie, inspired me for years.
