I haven’t heard the whole album but Joe Morello is one of my all time favorites.

Back when I did retail, there was a music store down the street that stocked the MFSL gold CDs.

Seemed kinda silly to pay that much for a CD back then, but little did I know how good the music was that I was stocking up on.

Most all of them turned out to be timeless classics.

There's clearly several handfuls I could drop on the thread, but most you'd have heard of, or have even thought of yourself. Instead I'll underline what Mark said. If you put some time to fantasticboom, I think many will appreciate the layered, musically rich and seriously unique catalog of work in these albums. I've been captured by them for most of the last year.

An often listened to album from my youth deserves a shout-out; Simon and Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water. Here's a little of the story:

Lots of excellent Rush material out there. For me the brilliance from start to finish on entire albums started with Moving Pictures and ended with Power Windows. All very different albums.

Bat Out Of Hell needs to be mentioned too.
