Can't help it, but there I was in Home Depot a few minutes ago (admiring their restraint as to decorating for Christmas...) and this tune came on. Some folks like it, and others not so much but it got almost as much airplay as Rick Astley.

For some reason, Eddie and the Cruisers remind me of Streets of Fire. I never understood why. But I did dig Dan Hartman.
And let’s not forget the track that jumped from stage to Top 40.
