I am a child of the 70s/80s. I grew up with HK and the “Wundernine” on screen with my fair share of big revolvers. With that said, I was watching some old TV show the other night and out came a couple of 870’s with extended mag tubes and damn there are few firearms with that kind of screen presence. Pump or semi they just scream bad ass on screen. Honorable mention to a good lever action scene, especially in a modern setting. I just felt like sharing with the class. Amen to that. When I first saw the Getaway (1972) and Steve McQueen was blowing shit away with the High Standard riot gun, that was bad-ass. Still is. "But, as luck would have it, he stood up. He caught that chunk of lead." Gunnery Sergeant Carlos Hathcock "If there's one thing this last week has taught me, it's better to have a gun and not need it than to need a gun and not have it." Agreed. In the 70's, I had an 870 with extended mag tube. it was just plain badass. Steve is definitely rocking that boom stick. Niech Zyje P-220 Steve | |||

No extended mag tube, but the Winchester 1912 and especially the 1897, in their "trench gun" configurations, look the "bad mamma-jamma" part. Additionally, you could hold their triggers back and they would fire when the pump is slammed home.
