All time favorite is the french movie Le Perd Noel est une ordure ama santa is a stinker 1982. Avoid the US version.
As per the spirit, there's no christmas without Die Hard.

A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim.

A friend of mine says "It just isn't Christmas until I see that movie."

I've also adopted that attitude.

We're not big movie watchers. Probably watch 2 or 3 movies in a given year. This Christmas Eve, however, since nothing else was going on, my wife flipped on the Hallmark Channel. Yes, really. And we watched some super cheesy, schmaltzy Christmas movie that I can't remember the title of. And it was actually fun and enjoyable. Yes, really...

It's A Wonderful Life. I don't even know how many times I've seen it, but we watch it on Christmas Eve and other times and it always chokes me up at the end.
