Bonnie Raitt-1975 and earlier. Her back up artists were always great old musicians, and she worked very well with them.

As far as singers there are several favorites. The voice I really like is Julie Andrews. I don't listen to her constantly, I do however really enjoy it when I do.

A relatively newcomer as far as music is primarily old school is Mary Spender .

Fabulous voice, I see a bit of a folksy Joni Mitchell sans the catchy tune of the times.
