The book is great and the movie from 1983 is decent. The boys wanted to see the new one as they read the book in school. So we all went today and it was really really good! Such a great movie that was fully focused on the true meaning of Christmas not the commercialized Christmas. No need to see it in the theater but the boys wanted to go so we did. Save money and just watch it at the house. I’d say it will be added to our Christmas viewing each year! It was surprisingly good. I think it helps to understand it’s of an earlier era and to slow down and enjoy it. | |||
