Carmen became a solo artist with a number of hits in the late 70s and 80s, but I remember him best as the leader of The Raspberries. Loved that band, still listen to them occasionally in my truck, great driving music. Clip from their 2007 reunion.

He had quite the career, I put on a Spotify playlist of Eric Carmen last night on my drive home and never realized how many hits that guy had. I didn't realize he did "Hungry Eyes" for the movie Dirty Dancing too, I thought that was some other artist.

The man was one of the few rock stars that was MAGA. He did catch a lot of shit from fans and musicians for his Tweets. He was suspended/banned at one point after Jan. 6th, had posts removed.
