If you haven’t heard of this, the premise of the show is that there is a different celebrity guest star every week. They are a trainee detective who has to solve a murder, but the twist is that they don’t get a script and have to improvise their lines and also solve the murder.

While the guest stars lines might be improvised, I think they are doing multiple takes and so I’ll bet the guest star gets a few tries at delivering something that works. However I am two episodes in and there have been some hilarious scenes and I think that in the end the guest star truly has to solve the murder and try and justify their decision. Conan O’Brian at the restaurant and the interrogation room scene in both episodes had me laughing out loud.

Haven’t seen it but sounds vaguely familiar to a Korean tv show.

I’ll also mention that you can actually solve the case at home by paying attention, and that the guest stars are wrong sometimes.
