Yes, the commercials are always first for me, the game is a far second.

The internet has spoiled the whole concept though, most of them are available to watch online now before the Super Bowl even airs. Frown

I watch the game, been doing so for many years so it's kind of an annual thing...

Commercials are a fun part of it, and with this years teams it might actually be a good game.

Go KC

Bulldog posted my exact sentiments. The NFL could go to hell for all I care.

My sentiments exactly. Go to hell and stay there. Never ever ever again will I ever watch Football.

Same here.

Plus, the wife told me this evening that the NFL rejected a pro-life ad as "too controversial". But, I guess anti-police and anti-gun ads are OK. Roll Eyes

For all NFL games, which I love, I DVR for 2 hours and then fast forward past all the commercials and time outs. It has become just too much of a distraction for me.

Yes, but not all. I've heard that the Bill Murray Groundhog Day ad will have a surprise; the game is played on February 2, so it fits...

I've also found that some of the ads are blacked out online. You can click on a link, but merely get an error. This site has a lot of them. I note that Sam Elliot stars in a Doritos commercial, and Dashlane, the password protection software I've been using for years has one. Welcome to the big time, Dashlane! Smile

You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

To each his or her own, but I have better things to do than watch the garbage that pro football and other pro sports have become. Haven't watched a pro game in many years and never will again.
