I think we are just going to have to get used to any cop or military show having a bunch of pc crap in them. I'm sure the producers think it's the only way to keep their ratings up.

No. At least I won't and from what others have said, they aren't watching either. Good stories, good writing, and good acting will get good ratings. Crap will get shitty ratings. I have other things to watch and do with my time than spending time watching SJW/PC crap.

Let’s face it. If they redid “The Office” today, Everyone would be gay except Oscar. And there would be occasional story lines about him being straight,

As long as they continue to make money, this will continue. The only way to make the force feeding to stop is cut off their money. IE- the SJW mess of a Star Wars movie that just came out.

Finally a show about My Department. Been an LA County Deputy for 12 years now, obviously this is Television and over dramatized but they did their homework for the show when it comes to classifications, codes and other lingo we use on the department.

Not bad I will keep watching and remember people this is just for entertainment if you’re getting upset/mad over the the shows Main characters opinion over immigration you’re just dumb but hey don’t watch it that’s your choice!

There's no reason to watch a show that is at odds with our morals and one of the key political issues of our day. Also, there's no reason to call anyone not watching because of it dumb. That's just ignorant. Honestly, I had made my mind up within the first 30 seconds but continued to watch because my wife wanted to. Sat through the entire episode....at the end, we agreed it was just pure garbage. Even if you took the politics out of it, the acting was horrible. I give it less than a full season before it's gone.

I would add that the sheriff of a department the size of the L.A.County Sheriff's Department is not going to be going on raids, kicking in doors, getting in shoot outs and doing street cop stuff. I found that to be a real eye roller but the PC stuff was the biggest turn off for my wife and I.

It was a interesting twist that this old school lawman would have that political view on illegals. You'd think just the opposite. I'll see what the next episode does but I agree that it doesn't have much of a future.

Well, I made it further than the OP's 3 minutes. But, I don't think I made it past 15-20 and then deleted it from my DVR auto-record schedule. Adios!

Nothing else on so I watched ep 2.
Better but still the lingering thoughts from ep 1 affected my view.
Most likely will be a gluten for punishment if next week nothing better to watch.
I agree less SJW antics but the "old school altruistic" approach doesn't quite seem to work. Eek

This was on at the gym last night on one of the screens where the dumbbell rack is. I looked and said WTF is this? Some lesbian in a suit kept appearing scene after scene. She looked like she was in high school. I just started laughing. This SJW deal is just out of fucking control. What is her character in this? Please don't tell me she works in the department. She barely looked old enough to get on the rides at an amusement park.

I'm not sure what to call this character; he, she or it! Anyway, this hesheit is the deputy's, ie, sheriff's driver.

LMAO. Oh man, watching it on mute, my own music playing through my headphones, it just didn’t look believable at all. I kept seeing the deputy and this lady, and I’m thinking is he working a case? She kept coming around. I cannot put into words how strange the images looked. Ridiculous comes to mind. I can believe it’s true but can’t believe this is society today. She is his bodyguard? GTFO.
