Hard to believe this movie was released 50 years ago. I've got some good memories over the years watching this movie with friends. Think I'll catch it tonight on Amazon Prime just for fun.

Feel sorry for Tim Curry, never really recovered from the stroke he had in 2012.

I remember seeing it the first time in 1978 at a theater close to the University in Heidelberg. Newspapers, water pistols and the audience was already (even in Germany) shouting responses to the screen in English.

I was in the service deployed on some training. One of my wife's friends took her to see Rocky Horror to kill some time.

Guess what we did when I got back and got some time off? It was a weird experience for me with all the role playing, folks throwing rice and the like at the proper moments. The movie itself was strange enough, but the audience added a whole 'nother aspect.
