Thought she was one of the folks who promised to leave the country if Trump won. Unfortunately, none of those who said they would, did.

I think that was Rosie O'Donnell. They do share similarities, though.

A big part is money.
A lot of these reboots are coming from the 80s and 90s when my generation were kids.
Now we have grown and have careers and money to spend on what some may call nostalgia.

I think a huge part of Stranger Things popularity was how well the utilized the 80s for the time period. Had it been set in a different era or the current I am not so sure it would have been as popular.

Didn't they kill Dan off the show?

Yup. But they are bringing him back so it will be interesting to see how they do that.

Same here.

Yep.

I watched it a couple of times when it first aired and I was severely underwhelmed. It was supposed to be a "cutting edge" sitcom and I just didn't get it. I found the main character to be very annoying.

I'd watch it if Chuck Lorre was back, but otherwise I'll pass. I would, on the other hand, love to watch a series of "Annabelle."

My guess is that it won't be as good as the original was (or how good I thought the original was back then). I'll tune in at some point and watch an episode. But I'll be completely prepared to be disappointed.

I would catch the original on reruns on occasion... pretty good representation of what we down here call White Trash.. John Goodman is a great actor.. he was great in 'Oh Brother Where Art Thou"

This is getting weird, what's the angle here?

She's not a Trump supporter in real life is she?

Apparently her twitter feed has been very pro Trump. So yes, she is.

And anyway, does anyone doubt that Rosanne would've been a Trump supporter in the original series?

lol her claiming to be a trump supporter. Remember this is the lady who also claimed to be a communist, then later a socialist. She simply runs around and claims to be the opossite of what she deams to be main stream.

Some of Barr's early standup was funny, but I never could take that show.

The Roseanne revival has been renewed for a second season already after two episodes!

What's crazy is episode #2 drew 25 million viewers, UP from the already-incredible 18 million that episode #1 drew. In this very-fractured day and age of streaming and many more options to view TV than 20 years ago, those numbers are quite impressive.

I'm already seeing sore-loser liberals calling this a "Trump" show even though they don't mention his name once, my wacko liberal cousin being one of them. She also helpfully showed me a WaPo article about how we Trump knuckle-dragging cretins are going to be the only ones watching this terrible TV show apparently. Roll Eyes
