I saw a video explaining why they don't do printed bricks. Tons of extra cost & inventory space, for what is a small subset of the total, and for short run kits.
Much cheaper to print sticker sheets for common bricks instead.

I just find that hard to believe. Surely LEGO produces more, even of the adult-oriented kits, than Cobi, yet Cobi does pad printing. Just seems 'cheap' to have stickers on kits going for over $100.

I tend to make small modifications/additions, usually replacing MGs with ones from Brick Arms or maybe uniform parts, like the hat/radio headset on the German tank commander.

The Apollo looks awesome!

I looked long and hard for any Lego kit that has/features/includes/is a tank.

I couldn't find any.

Made one without plans and then a half-track.

There are a few things that hopefully will never come apart.

I have heard LEGO doesn't do military. But Cobi does, as well as several Chinese companies. Xingbao makes nice kits, they have several kits made with the cooperation/license of the Bundeswehr. I've got 4 of those and they're really nice. Leopard 1, Marder, Leopard 2A7, and that new wheeled APC. They also have a tank transporter with trailer and the Panzerhaubitze 2000.

Cobi has a huge selection of WW2 stuff, though.

I have a German SD KFZ 251 half track I need to build but I am working on the JAWS set right now and let me tell you the bow of the Orca has been a PITA!!!!

Love the little Astronauts on the Eagle diorama.
