The Black Prince at Crécy(1346)
by Julian Russel Story(1888)

In this painting the Black Prince(Edward Of Woodstock, Prince D’aquitaine, Duke Of Cornwall, Earl of Chester, and the Prince of Wales)pays homage to the dead King John of Bohemia.

(King John, an ally of the French, rode into the battle of Crécy(1346),one of the major battles and turning points of the Hundred Years' War,completely blind though at the start of the battle he was surrounded by his attendant knights who subsequently either killed or driven off leaving him vulnerable).

This painting is also allegorical:

The Black Prince= President Trump

King John=The Democrat Party

The dead horse on top of King John: The Mueller Investigation("Russian Collusion")the phony-baloney-nothing-burger "Ukrainian scandal".

Our first year in Maui, we rented a house from Norman Stubbs. It turns out Norman was the founder and designer for East West Musical Instruments Company. He had a shop in Haight-Ashbury, I believe; tried selling exotic musical instruments but no customers. There was some leftover leather pieces and a sewing machine in his rented shop; having time on his hands he made a leather jacket and hung it in the window. One day Janis Joplin came by and ordered one. They became crazy popular.

No pictures here but plenty at the link.

No.

Then why are you injecting politics not only into a thread, but into a century old painting of a centuries old event? That is in no way allegory.

Guys. STOP injecting politics into everything. If you want to talk Trump or any other facet of politics, do it in any number of threads _on that topic_.

Just stop, you're boring the pants off people when you pull this nonsense.

Arc.
