I recorded “Song of Bernadette” a few days ago and in playing it, found out that it’s part of an Oscars film festival. Today, Thursday, is actually the 8th day and they are focusing on films nominated for, or winners of, Best Sound. That’s how they’re doing it, devoting a day to the various categories film awards are given for. Tomorrow is Costume Design, Saturday is Art Direction, et cetera.

Probably worthwhile to keep an eye on the schedule.

Another reminder. They are into the last week of Oscar-related programming. These last 7 days, they are focusing on Best Picture nominees and winners. Tonight, focusing on a military theme. Mutiny on the Bounty is on now, followed by All Quiet on the Western Front and finishing the evening with Wings.
